The Champagne
The contents certainly lives up to this exquisite bottle’s promises, whose bronze tones and delicate curves make it a delight to behold. A blend of 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay that redefines harmony and sensuality. The grapes grow exclusively in Premier and Grand Cru sites from the Vallée de la Marne, Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs.
This Rosé Champagne created by Carol Duval-Leroy was one of the great discoveries of the London Wine Fair in 2009. Well known, today, and appreciated for its tantalizing berry aromas and creamy effervescence. Juicy but with elegant texture and delicate tannin on the finish.

The Champagne House Duval-Leroy
The champagne house Duval-Leroy was founded in 1859 from the two smaller brands Jules Duval and Edouard Leroy. Since then, it has been passed down from generation to generation from father to son and has continued to grow over the years. After the sudden death of Jean-Charles Duval in 1991, his wife Carol Duval-Leroy took over the champagne house. At that time, no one suspected that she would work her way up to join the highest ranks of champagne producers in just a few short years. Today, Duval-Leroy owns 200 hectares of its own vineyards and a full 40% of these are in Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites on the Côte des Blancs. The remaining two-thirds of the grapes are provided by more than 100 winemakers in the region. This makes Duval-Leroy one of the fifteen largest Champagne houses and Carol Duval-Leroy the “Grand Lady” of Champagne. When it comes to viticulture, the family takes great care to employ environmentally friendly and gentle methods, which even yield two completely organic wines. The perfect harmony of terroir and technical expertise result in a champagne with elegance, minerality and a radiant shine.
