The Champagne
Billecart Salmon Brut Nature is an ode to the elegance and authentic expression of Champagne. This exceptional cuvée is characterized by its purity and refined character, without any sugar – zero dosage. It harmoniously combines 30% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne, 30% Chardonnay from the diverse vineyards of the Marne and 40% Meunier from the Vallée de la Marne and the Coteaux Sud d’Épernay. Maturation on the lees in the cellar for 48 months and the use of 50% to 60% reserve wines give it remarkable depth and complexity.
Tasting Note
- In the glass, the Billecart Salmon Brut Nature presents itself in an intense, delicate gold. Its clarity and brilliance are emphasized by abundant and harmonious bubbles that create an inviting play in the glass.
- On the nose, it unfolds a variety of scents – from flowers and dried fruit to brioche, rounded off by the subtle charm of lemon verbena.
- On the palate, the champagne offers an exciting taste experience with a perfect balance of mineral notes and nuances of pastry and white stone fruit.
Pair with
Quite an all-rounder – but how about veal carpaccio, grilled scallops or fish in a citrus marinade, for example?
